Last week, in Tallahassee, construction began on a house in the neighborhood of Griffin Heights that has professionals in the construction industry taking notice. This is not a conventionally built home and may be the first of its kind in Florida. It is being built using a 3D printer and drawing quite a crowd of onlookers.

Branford’s 4th of July River Reunion Festival at Hatch Memorial Park was a welcomed event for locals and visitors, held on Saturday, July 3, 2021. After the last significant rain ended around 2 p.m., hundreds lined the streets to watch the parade that began at 6 p.m.

RIVEROAK Technical College held its 2020-2021 Practical Nursing Graduation on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., at the Suwannee County Coliseum. Twenty students successfully completed the 11 month, 1,350 clock hour program and received their diploma and nursing pin.

Governor DeSantis, Tuesday, signed 94 bills into law and vetoed four. Due to the extensive list of new legislature and everyone talking about Auto Insurance SB 54, that was vetoed, two bills have taken somewhat of a back seat in the media, HB 403 — Home-based Businesses and HB 663 — Cottage Food Operations. This new legislation could mean everything to the self-employed and budding entrepreneurs.
