Futch’s Tractor Depot is excited to announce they have acquired Gordon Tractor at the Live Oak and Madison locations.

The ownership and management for Futch’s wants Gordon’s customers to know that they can expect the same friendly, small town greeting at these stores along with an investment to provide elite level service before, during and after the sale.

Daryll Futch (President) need’s our customers in Live Oak & Madison to know they can expect to see the same offering of Kubota, Gravely and Echo equipment and additional options of similar quality products.

Daryll Futch believes a company that truly cares and supports its customers and team members will be a successful company. These words are echoed throughout the organization as Shawn Sadler (General Manager) rarely has a day go by without this motto being applied to the decision making in all aspects of Futch’s.

Shawn has been with Mr. Futch since 2008, only three days after he opened his first store in Hastings, Florida.

In today’s economy success is not easily accomplished but Daryll’s business model works. Now owning six stores throughout the North Florida area, he has no intention of changing. The recipe is commitment to customers and the ingredients are hard work, quality work, and going the extra mile.

Sadler told of how each of Futch’s locations have became involved and a part of the community they serve and already have plans to do the same in Live Oak and Madison. “We want to get involved with local schools and municipalities and the local Future Farmers of America (FFA), and it’s not about selling, it’s just being a part of the community,” said Sadler. “(Gordon) has been part of the communities (in this area) for a long time. Lee Gordon started these stores. We are eventually going to offer a Lee Gordon Scholarship for this area for students going into any type of agriculture.”

One of the ingredients Shawn said he attributes to their success is, “We’ve done a pretty good job of making sure our parts and service departments support our sales departments, doing follow-up in taking care of our customers. We support them in such a way that it helps our customers come in and (feel comfortable) purchasing from us, knowing the expectations of (the support) we’re going to give them. It keeps that communication with the customer all along. That’s what’s important. We want to build relationships.”

Futch’s has plans already in the works to build a new location in Live Oak near Ag-Pro and Big Wood BBQ & Grill on 72nd Trace. They hope to have the new location up and running by this time next year.

Futch’s Tractor Depot, in Madison, is located at 491 SW Range Avenue and in Live Oak, they are located at 1722 Ohio Avenue South. Along with the newly acquired locations, Futch’s other stores are located in St. Augustine Beach, Keystone Heights, Hastings and Palatka.
