Janine Plavac appt. to School Board of Alachua County

Last week, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Janine Plavac to the School Board of Alachua County.  

     Plavac is the Director of the Health Sciences Institute at St. Francis Catholic High School. Active in her community, she previously served as Chair of the Gainesville High School Advisory Council and the Alachua County Superintendent Search Committee. Plavac earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Miami.
