UPDATE: 2/1/25
They are now reporting the military helicopter does have a black box.
DC Crash claims 67 lives
By Tami Stevenson
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family members and loved ones of the 67 people who tragically lost their lives as a military helicopter and an American Airlines plane, with 64 civilians on board, collided around 9 p.m. Wednesday evening in Washington DC at the Raegan airport.
Reports have confirmed there are no survivors.
It was reported, when this was first published, that model of the Black Hawk helicopter did not have a black box recorder. But they are now, as of late Jan. 31, reporting that model of military helicopter DOES have a black box. Will it be recovered?
