The Republican front runner in the Florida primary race for Governor, Byron Donalds, was the special guest speaker at the Lincoln Reagan Trump Dinner 2026 in Dowling Park on February 28.

Republicans will vote on August 18 in the primaries for one of 13 Republican candidates.  Donalds spoke about the future of Florida and the many successes the state has achieved under Governor DeSantis.

Other speakers included: Congresswoman Kat Cammack, Republican Party of Florida Chair Evan Power and Vice Chair Jovate Teague, Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia and TPUSA Representative, Owen Girard. Cammack gave an update on Washington activities in her well known dynamic manner.

Ingoglia’s financial audits around the state have exposed almost $2B in wasteful and excessive spending by both Republicans and Democrats. Girard spoke to 20 youth attending the dinner regarding the important role they have to play in the future of Florida and our Nation.

The Republican Party of Suwannee County meets on the first Thursday of each month at Live Oak City Hall, doors open at 6:30 pm, meeting at 7.  Candidates and special guests speak on issues important to us all – such as the Water First North Florida (WFNF) project to pipe treated Jacksonville wastewater into the Suwannee River Basin).
