North Florida College to build new center
Ground breaking ceremony October 14

North Florida College is proud to announce a ground breaking ceremony for their new facility called Innovation Community Access & Networking Center (ICAN).
The groundbreaking ceremony will be held October 14 at 10:00 a.m., adjacent to the NFC Career and Workforce Building, Bldg. 13 on the main campus, located at 325 NW Turner Davis Drive in Madison.
The ICAN center, once built, will feature public computer and high-speed internet access, private pods for telehealth and virtual meetings, a business hub and conference center with video-conferencing capabilities, flexible training and classroom spaces for community and workforce education and there will be open meeting areas for civic and professional collaboration.
The center will accommodate up to 157 users at one time.
The building project is funded primarily through a $4 million award from the Florida Capital Projects Fund.
