Affirmative action on any item includes authorization of Chairman’s, or designee’s, signature on all associated documents.


Individual speakers from the audience will be allowed three (3) minutes to speak following recognition by the Chairman and must speak from the podium. Speakers may only make one (1) trip to the podium regarding each item they wish to speak on.                                                   
Groups or factions representing a position on a proposition or issue are required to select a single representative or spokesperson.  The designated representative will be allowed to speak for seven (7) minutes following recognition by the Chairman and must speak from the podium.  Speakers may only make one (1) trip to the podium regarding each item they wish to speak on.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

September 3, 2019 – Tentative Budget Hearing
September 3, 2019 – Regular Board Meeting

CONSENT:

Approval of payment of processed invoices.

Adoption of resolution establishing a Cross-Connection Control Program for the I-75 / CR 136 Water Treatment Plant.

Approval of Modification No. 7 – Z0598-7 to Subgrant Agreement with the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management for funds associated with Hurricane Irma.

Approval to apply for State Appropriation grant for construction of Fire Station north of I-10.  

Authorization to close all branches of the Suwannee River Regional Library System on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 for Staff Development Day.


Authorization to apply for State Aid Grant for Public Libraries for the Suwannee River Regional Library System.

Authorization to apply for a grant through E911 Rural County Grant Program in the amount of $2,594.00 for yearly maintenance of 911 eventide logging recorder.

Authorization to advertise for bids for repairs and improvements at Peacock Lake Boat Ramp and Park through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and authorize staff to execute documents as needed.

Authorization to purchase artificial turf for the 50/50 FRDAP match grant project from Astroturf utilizing the Sourcewell contract and authorize staff to execute documents as needed.

Authorization to apply for two (2) Department of Environmental Protection Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Grants for Douglass Center in the amount of up to $50,000.00 each with no match and adoption of enabling resolution including the projects in the budget for FY 2020-21.

Authorization to apply for Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Agricultural Education & Promotion Facility Grant for improvements at Suwannee County Agricultural Colosseum and authorize Chairman or his designee to execute the resolution in support of the grant application and authorize staff to sign any required documents.

Authorization to use My Florida Market Place contract for procuring testing of chillers at Courthouse and Jail. Budgeted item.

Request authorization to award bid and execute contract for insulation of Mizell Building (Bid No. 2019-24). (Randy Harris, County Administrator)

Discuss, with possible Board action, any issues associated with Water or Waste Water Plant at   I-75 / CR 136 interchange. (Randy Harris, County Administrator)
