Admired for his ‘pulls no punches’ style, West’s honesty, courage and integrity are refreshing to those who want to see American family values restored with their freedoms in tact.

The Suwannee County Republican Party along with the Republican Party of Florida invited Lt. Col. West to Live Oak ahead of the 2020 election cycle to give citizens a chance to hear and listen to this nationally known, real American Patriot and war hero. The theme for the evening is “Restoring American Patriotism.”

In an article published June 20, 2014, in the Suwannee Valley Times, Columnist Jamie Siegmeister had the opportunity to meet Lt. Colonel West and listen to him speak in Ocala. She pointed out that he has the commanding presence of a leader with the meticulous manner of a proper military hero. West not only spoke about some of the weaknesses of the Republican Party, but gave some solutions, urging them to remind Americans about the history of both parties. For example, it was and is not the Republicans who backed the KKK, it was the Democrats, but no one seems to ever talk about that.

Siegmeister wrote, “He criticized the Democratic Party for their history as the party of slavery, Jim Crow, KKK and other atrocities such as their destruction of the family which is a ‘fundamental and integral part of (every community).’” West said if we “…lose the ideological war, we lose the nation. It starts where we are now. The Republican Party has the history, lineage and legacy to fight progressive socialism, secular humanism and radical Islam. We must be bold enough.”

Siegmeister said she is looking forward to the September 5 event in Live Oak and is eager to meet with and hear West speak again.

Sherri Ortega, Chairwoman of the Suwannee County Executive Committee, is excited to bring West to speak at Camp Weed. She commented in a press release, “…we are so very fortunate to have a speaker of this caliber and national standing come to Suwannee County ahead of the 2020 election cycle.”

Chris Summerlin State Committee Woman for Suwannee County stated in the release that this is a wonderful opportunity for the citizens of this area to be able to hear and have contact with a nationally recognized American Patriot who believes in our Constitutional Republic and stands in defense of our American values and liberties.

Three types of tickets are currently available. For the 7:00 pm speaking engagement only, tickets are $25.00 per person and $10.00 for students with student I.D.’s. Prior to the speech, at 5:30 pm there will be a VIP reception and book signing with photo opportunity where you will be able to meet Lt. Col. West. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served during this social time which begins at 5:30 pm.  VIP tickets are $75.00 each and include preferred seating and designated parking area for the speaking engagement, as well.
