Walt’s Live Oak Ford presented a check this week for $6,000 to the Madison Rotary Club, through Ford Drive 4 UR Community. The funds raised will go towards building ramps for the disabled.

This is their third year and their biggest source of funding. Walt’s Live Oak Ford CFO Jennifer Johnson and former president of the Rotary Club of Madison, explained the significant impact this program has made for many of the disabled in the Madison community. The program has helped disabled residents become mobile by giving them wheelchair access to their homes. For many, it has given them their independence back. The good people at Walt’s said they are happy to be a part.

Walt’s also recently raised $8,000 for Branford Schools through Ford Drive 4 UR School program. Those funds will be used for their academic programs. Walt’s will be presenting the check to the school later this week. Go Ford!

Marie Waldrop takes her first walk up her freshly built ramp last fall. Without the funds from Ford Drive 4 UR Community, and Madison Rotary volunteers, this would have not been possible.
