A. Approval to accept donation in the amount of $10,000.00 from Altrusa International of Lake City to the City of Lake City. This donation is to provide fitness stations around Lake DeSoto with the stations having a plaque identifying Altrusa as the donor.
B. Approval to transfer an additional $61,477.00 from the Sprayfield Account No. 410.76.536.060.63 (Infrastructure) to the Wastewater Account No. 410.74.536.060.64 (Machinery & Equipment) to cover the cost for RAS Pump Upgrades at the St. Margarets Wastewater Facility as outlined in Bid No. ITB-014-2019.

9. NEW BUSINESS

A. RESOLUTIONS:

1. City Council Resolution No. 2019-051, if adopted, will authorize the execution of a Lease Agreement with BellSouth Telecommunications, LLC, for the leasing of a portion of vacant land located at the Lake City Gateway Airport for an initial term of five (5) years, with options to extend the term, pursuant to a Land Lease.

2. City Council Resolution No. 2019-053, if adopted, will authorize Task Assignment Number One to the continuing contract with Gmuer Engineering, LLC, for services related to the installation of a twelve inch (12”) water main extension approximately one thousand linear feet (1000’) along SW Cannon Creek Drive for a not-to-exceed amount of $2,750.00.

3. City Council Resolution No. 2019-056, if adopted, will authorize the City to enter into a Rural Infrastructure Fund Grant Agreement with the State of Florida, Department of Economic Opportunity, for up to $200,000.00, in reimbursable costs for a Feasibility Study of the City’s Wastewater Collection System.

4. City Council Resolution No. 2019-057, if adopted, will authorize Task Assignment Number One to the continuing contract with Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc., for services related to a Wastewater Capacity Study, in four phases, for a not-to-exceed cumulative amount of $195,000.00.

5. City Council Resolution No. 2019-058, if adopted, will authorize a request by the City for a Second Amendment to the Subgrant Agreement with the Department of Economic Opportunity extending the grant deadline by six (6) months.


6. City Council Resolution No. 2019-060, if adopted, will approve the reclassification of the Assistant City Manager position to a Senior Management Service Class under the Florida Retirement System.
