Appointment of Vice-Mayor for 2019 (Mayor Witt)

Note: Council Member Jake Hill is currently serving as Vice-Mayor.

ORDINANCES:

Ordinance No. 2018-2102 (first reading), if adopted, amends the future land use classification from Residential, Moderate Density (less than or equal to 4 dwelling units per acre) to Commercial of certain lands within the corporate limits of the City of Lake City, Florida.  This property is owned by Drs. Ricardo and Maria Bedoya and is located at 120 Burk Avenue and 134 Burk Avenue.

Ordinance No. 2018-2103 (first reading), if adopted, relates to the rezoning of less than ten contiguous acres of land from Residential Single-Family-2 (RSF-2) to Commercial, General (CG) of certain lands within the corporate limits of the City of Lake City, Florida.  This property is owned by Drs. Ricardo and Maria Bedoya and is located at 120 Burk Avenue and 134 Burk Avenue.

ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES:

RESOLUTIONS:

City Council Resolution No. 2018-107, if adopted, will authorize the execution of Task Assignment Number Seven to its continuing contract with North Florida Professional Services, Inc., for assistance providing the City with design services, construction management services, and construction inspection services related to a Community Development Block Grant for a not-to-exceed amount of $11,172.00.
City Council Resolution No. 2018-114, if adopted, will authorize the City to enter into Contract Number W1160 with the Florida Department of Corrections for the use of inmate labor in work programs.

City Council Resolution No. 2018-115, if adopted, will authorize the City to enter into Task Assignment Number Nine to its basic contract with North Florida Professional Services, Inc. for assistance providing the City with an analysis of the Gwen Lake Drainage Basin; and to pay North Florida Professional Services, Inc. a not-to-exceed amount of $36,500.00 for its services.

City Council Resolution No. 2018-116, if adopted, will authorize the City to enter into Task Assignment Number Ten to its continuing contract with North Florida Professional Services, Inc. for services related to improvements of the Youngs Park Tennis Courts; and to pay North Florida Professional Services, Inc., a not-to-exceed amount of $27,100.00.

City Council Resolution No. 2018-117, if adopted, will authorize the adoption of the Valic Retirement Services Company Retirement Plan for Governmental Employers to implement the Section 401A Retirement Account created by City Council Ordinance No. 2009-1180.

City Council Resolution No. 2018-118, if adopted, will authorize the City, by and through its Police Department, to renew its Interagency Agreement with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office to continue sharing a governmental interface product to utilize the SmartCop Interface for access to the National Crime Information Center and Florida Crime Information Center.

City Council Resolution No. 2018-120, if adopted, will authorize the City to enter into a Gas Services Agreement with Florida Gas Utility, a Public Body Corporate and Politic formed under the Interlocal Cooperation Act.
