o (2) Introduction (Mark Shelton, AICP with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc.)

o (3) Intent of Florida State Statutes:
A. Encourage development & redevelopment
B. Provide for a local sense of identification
C. Ensure adequate and sufficient infrastructure

o (4) Intent of Live Oak Comprehensive Plan:
A. Enhance the quality of life.
B. Encourage compatibility
C. Encourage consistency
D. Preserve the character of the community and resources

o (5) Aspects of Comprehensive Plan and carried out via and consistent with the

Live Oak Land Development Regulations:
A. Land Use & Zoning Maps / Development and Use Standards
B. Nonconformities
C. Annexation, re-zonings & other administrative actions
D. Onsite traffic and parking

Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the City hereby advises the public and all persons that: If you or another person decides to appeal any decision made at the above referenced public hearings, that you or said person will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, affected persons may need to ensure that a verbatim record/transcript of the proceedings is made that will be acceptable to a court, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Such person must provide a method of recording the proceedings verbatim as the City may not do so.
