A. Permit application from Blue Grey Army, Inc. to hold the Olustee Battle Festival and Parade starting with the set-up on Thursday, February 16, 2017. The festival will be held on Friday, February 17 through Saturday, February 18, 2017. The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17th. All supporting documents including certificate of insurance have been provided.

  1. Ordinance No. 2016-2082 (first reading), if adopted, will establish a Temporary Moratorium for six (6) months on Cannabis Dispensing Businesses.

  1. RESOLUTIONS:

 

  1. City Council Resolution No. 2017-001, if adopted, will approve the award of the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (“JAG”), through its Police Department, Fiscal Year 2017, Contract Number 2017-JAGC-COLU-1-F9-162, in the amount of $56,843.00, to be used to purchase 12 bodycam packages and 8 in-car camera/body-worn camera systems.

 

  1. City Council Resolution No. 2017-002, if adopted, will authorize the City to enter into a contract for the provision of professional services with Wetland Solutions, Inc. to provide technical assistance and training for the wetland system during the first year of the Ichetucknee Springshed Water Quality Improvement Project for an amount not to exceed $46,800.00.

 

 

  1. City Council Resolution No. 2017-003, if adopted, will appoint Melinda Moses to serve on the Columbia County Tourist Development Council.

 

  1. City Council Resolution No. 2017-004, if adopted, will adopt a Procurement Policy and Procedure to contribute to the strategic goals of achieving efficiency, transparency, cost savings, and fairness in the City’s procurement procedures.

 

  1. City Council Resolution No. 2017-005, if adopted, will authorize the City to enter into a contract with Hinterland Group, Inc., a Florida corporation, authorized to do business in the State of Florida, to provide wastewater gravity lines and manhole rehabilitation to the City.

 

11. DEPARTMENTAL ADMINISTRATION

 

  1. Real Property Acquisitions and Conveyance-Authorize City Manager and City Attorney to negotiate acquisition by the City of property located on NE Franklin Street (parcel 00-00-00-12066-000); to negotiate acquisition of property located on NE Hernando Avenue (parcel 00-00-00-12021-000); and to negotiate conveyance to the Lake Shore Hospital Authority of property located on NE Hernando Avenue (parcel 00-00-00-12032-000) presently owned by the City.
