Nearly 20,000 shoppers visit Live Oak each year for Suwannee County Chamber’s biggest event of the year, Christmas on the Square. Hoping to find that special ‘one of a kind’ gift among the 250 vendors offering hand crafted art, wood works, quilts, furniture and much more.
The 32nd Annual Christmas on the Square “Lighting the Way to Christmas” will be held on Saturday, December 3 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in beautiful downtown Live Oak. The festivities begin on Thursday night at Festival Park with The Jingle Bell Fun Run/Walk through downtown Live Oak. After the Fun Run/Walk join us across the street at Millennium Park for cookies & hot chocolate and a visit with Santa. Friday night we will have live entertainment downtown and our annual fireworks show. There will be over 300 craft and food vendors with entertainment all day at Millennium Park featuring arts and crafts, hand crafted wood works, quilts, furniture and much more. You won’t be able to resist the smell of the delicious and diverse foods in the food court and can enjoy many different types of meals and tasty snacks. Enjoy the classic muscle car and custom antique car show. There will also be an agriculture exhibition with the newest equipment available and also antique equipment that was used long ago. In Millennium Park you will find entertainment from the best of Live Oak’s very own local talent. Stay in town for our Annual Lighted Christmas Parade at 6:00 PM! Be sure to visit Santa in the Gazebo in Santa Land to share your Christmas wish list.
